Are changes being welcome in your life or status quo is preferred? If the changes are positive most will welcome it, while negative changes will be resisted and avoided. Most prefer to keep changes to the minimum as there is always a fear on what is the end result of any change.
If things are not broken why change? But again things around us are constantly changing and it is inevitable. If we keep avoiding changes we will stay in history. Knowing that changes are unavoidable, I guess it is better to look ahead and accept the changes or make the changes in advance so that we can adapt or take advantages of the changes. The rate of change could be sudden or gradual but things are changing at all time. The ability to accept will be the answer to a better life. Being in the technology business, we witness changes very rapidly. Better CPU, more performance on network, technologies are built to do more with less, better software are being developed to cater for such needs. If we stop learning about such technologies or to avoid such technologies we will be literally being pushed out of the leading edge. Accept the changes as challenges and be prepared for the ever changing phenomena. |
